Juliane also participated in a project from the Chapelwood Girls School, where the kids learn something about foreign countries. She had to host a paper Stanley for a certain time, and write down his adventures.
Juliane is currently walking dogs for the local animal shelter of Wolfenbüttel. Juliane seems to bring luck to the dogs, since 12 of the 16 dogs, which she walked, already found a new home. However, there are many more animals, which are waiting for a new home, and it is definetly worth visiting. Also, if you can't take one of the animals, maybe you can walk one of the dogs or can help the shelter out with other things, such as adopting one of the dogs or sponsoring other needed things. The animal shelter has also a website, which you can access under: http://www.tierschutzverein-wolfenbuettel.eu/index.html
Below are pics of dogs, which Juliane has walked, and which are still available. However, there are many more dogs (currently 23), and also cats (over 200!!!), smaller animals like rabbits, hamsters, furets, birds, and even reptilies in the shelter, which you can also see under the website.
